Take turns throwing your bocce balls toward the jack. Get closer than your opponent — knock their balls away or reposition the jack with a well-weighted throw.

Points per end go to the balls closer to the jack than the opponent's best ball; first to the target score set by the kaiwhakawā. Throw from behind the line. Log your result as a win or loss with your opponent's name. Extra matches vs new opponents earn effort points.
