Face your opponent in a line, back to back. A judge calls either "Rats!" or "Rabbits!". If your team is called, you chase — if your team is not called, you run to your safe zone. First to tag the opponent's back scores the point. Play to first to 3 points, win by 2.

Players stand back to back in the centre. Judge calls "Rats!" or "Rabbits!" — named team chases, other team runs to their safe zone.
